Stone-ground greyish flour mixture - by the way, the darker the color, the higher the quality and protein content of the mix. This simple and healthy product is derived from select ingredients: whole buckwheat flour, sea salt, and baking soda. Consuming this buckwheat adds a significant amount of fiber, vitamins (particularly B1, B2, and B3), and minerals (primarily copper and magnesium, as well as phosphorus and iron) to your diet. This Breton pancake is recommended for vegetarians and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Mix 1 cup of buckwheat pancake mix with 1 ½ cups of water. Let it rest for a moment until the water and mix form a smooth batter. Cook and enjoy it plain, with butter, molasses, cretons, or cold meats.
